Waning Interest

This past year I've noticed that I sleep—or at least doze—through more dramas than I have in the past. Are the writers running out of ideas? Is Netflix forcing American subjects and issues on the Koreans?

It's difficult to say. I abandoned linear U.S. television many years ago. This past year I abandoned all Chinese Dramas except for a single movie. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find Japanese Dramas that aren't focused on sex and gore. Korean Dramas seem to be following suit.

Let's see what year 8 brings.
